How to play Broadside

Conquer the globe and become king of the world!
This exciting game combines tactics and decision making with a fixed odds game. Gain ultimate world supremacy – and get a Supremacy Bonus!

•  Click on the -/+ buttons to choose your Stake per game.
  
•  Select the continent from which you’ll be attacking other continents from by clicking on the target symbol. In making this decision, take into consideration both the number of dice it owns and the amount of connections to neighbouring continents. Your continent will be then marked by a fortress.
  
• Select which continent to attack by clicking on the target symbol. The return for a successful roll is displayed within all continents.
  
• Click the ‘crossed knives’ symbol to attack.
  
•  You win and conquer the continent if your total roll is higher than your opponent’s.
  A die will then be added to the conquered continent taken from the attacking continent’s stack.
  
•  Each continent you conquer is rewarded with another dice. The continents under your ruling will be marked in green.
  
•  After a win, you again select one of your owned continent’s to attack from and then select an opponent’s continent to attack, as long as there is a connecting route between them.
  
•  The game is over if your attack fails and you’re beaten by the roll of the opponent
  
•  In case of a tie you lose. Click Cashout to surrender at any point.
  
•  Your winnings will be displayed in the Winnings field.

Special features

Bonuses are awarded for owning multiples of continents as described below:
Propaganda: Allows you to select an unowned continent to remove a die from.
Reinforcement: Allows you to select an owned continent to add a die to.
Truce: Allows you to select a neighbouring unowned continent to become an owned continent.

SUPREMACY BONUS

When you become king of the world by completing the map and achieving supremacy, you’’ be awarded with a supremacy bonus. This is a percentage of your winnings for your final bet.
