How to play Virtual Horses

Get your racing fix in virtual reality, where no race starts till you’re ready, and racing day doesn’t end till you say it does!

Click on a chip, then click on any of the checkboxes to place a bet at the adjacent odds. You can always remove chips using the Clear last bet or Clear all bets buttons.

Once you’ve decided on your bets, click on Bet now to start the virtual race.

Sit back and watch the race, or click on the fast forwards (arrow) button to jump ahead to the photo finish. During the virtual race, your bets will appear in a list on the right; click on the up and down arrows to scroll through them.

Win/place bets

In the top left corner, bet on any selection (horse) to win and/or to place (top 3 places). When you mouse over the checkboxes that indicate place bets, the odds quoted will change accordingly.

Place bets are @ 1/5 odds.

Forecasts

The entire lower half of the game screen displays of all the possible straight Forecasts for the race. E.g. a Forecast bet on ‘1 x 3’ means that you predict horse 1 will win the race and horse 3 will finish 2nd. A bet on ‘3 x1’ means the opposite: horse 3 will finish 1st and horse 1 will place 2nd.

Payouts

Your winnings will be added to your balance at the end of each race.

Special Features

Click on Turbo bet to skip directly from the betting stage to the photo finish without watching the virtual race.

Click on Repeat bet to stake the same chips on the same results as your last bet.
