Where are you from and what do you enjoy most about your home country?
I’m originally from the UK and grew up in South East London. My favorite thing about the UK (specifically London) has got to be the shopping, especially Oxford Street for High Street clothes shops and Camden Market for the vintage clothes! I also love how beautiful the British countryside is and could quite happily just relax taking in the views of the Cotswolds.

What are your interests and hobbies?
I’m a massive music lover and could spend all my time just listening to R’n’B, although I do like an eclectic mix of different genres. I’m also a big movie buff, although I really miss the whole cinema experience of the huge screens, the popcorn and nibbles and the booming sound effects, as it’s not quite the same here in Spain.

Who would your ideal dinner date be and why?
As a married lady I should probably say my husband, although there’s not much I don’t know after 13 Years, so for something a bit different I quite like the idea of a dinner date with someone like Fearne Cotton. I just find her really interesting, as she’s a very down to earth person, who’s ambitious and career focused, but has also done a lot in her life for someone so young, such as all the charity work she does. I think we have a similar sense of humour too and as she doesn’t seem to take herself seriously, I’m sure it would make for a very fun and entertaining meal!

If you could only bring 3 things to a desert island what would they be?
First and foremost I’d take my daughter, as she always makes me smile and would stop me getting lonely! Secondly I’d take my iPhone so I can listen to music as I think the silence would make me go mad (until the battery runs out of course)! Ideally my desert island would have plug sockets, so I could bring my GHDs but then that defies the whole point of a Desert Island, so my final item would have to be a life supply of Cadbury’s chocolate, as I can’t go a day without it!

What’s your star sign and which characteristic is most applicable to you and why?
I’m a Taurus and much like most Taureans, when I get something in my head I tend to run with it exactly like the ‘bull in a china shop’ metaphor. I can also be quite stubborn, although I’m not as hard headed as we’re supposed to be about backing down when I’m wrong.

What’s your motto and why?
Treat others the way you want to be treated! I’ve been brought up to treat people with respect and to always give them a chance to prove themselves, which is exactly how I’d like people to treat me – with respect and a little patience. That said - it takes a lot more time and effort to be patient with people who aren’t being respectful!

Other than your own native tongue, what is your favourite language and why?
I’ve always liked the Spanish language and I’m not just saying that because I live in Spain. I think it started from my fascination with West Side Story as a child, although South American Spanish is obviously quite different to the Spanish language here.

What is your most embarrassing office moment?
I honestly can’t remember anything specific (well, anything that I could disclose!) although there are probably more than I can even recall, as I’m generally quite a clumsy person. I have a tendency to open my mouth before I think too, but whichever incident it would be, it would undoubtedly result in me blushing fuchsia and then trying to hide my luminous face behind my desk!

Which ‘super power’ would you most like to have and why?
I think the most beneficial Super Power for me would be ‘Super Speed’ as I’m late for almost everything and have been like that since I started making my own way to school when I was 11. Super Speed would mean I’d never be late again and could then spend as much time as I needed getting ready for work, bed, nights out, dinner with Fearne Cotton etc. How much easier would my life be!

If you could travel into the past just once, when and where would you go and why?
Without sounding too sentimental, I would love to have met my grandmother! She died before I was born (in 1983), so I never got to meet her, but my mother’s side of the family talk about her all the time and she sounds like such an amazingly strong and beautiful person, that I’m sure I could learn a lot from her!

Which animal most sums up your personality and why?
I’d say my trait characteristics are similar to that of a dolphin, although I think my friends might disagree on account of the fact that I’m quite loud?! They’re serene, intelligent animals who are caring and very playful. They’re also fiercely loyal and protective of their group and although they may look quiet and harmless, they are incredibly strong and can be aggressive when protecting their loved ones.
