What is Jackpot Drop?

Jackpot Drop is a progressive jackpot, offered with our Eligible Games. When playing an Eligible Game, Players will see the Jackpot Drop logo and have the opportunity to opt-in and select a jackpot contribution giving them the chance to win one of the Jackpot Drop jackpots. The progressive jackpots, available to William Hill, 888 and Mr Green players, are split into six tiers:

Bronze – jackpot starting at $6
Silver - jackpot starting at $12
Gold - jackpot starting at $18.75
Platinum - jackpot starting at $31.25
Sapphire - jackpot starting at $250
Diamond - jackpot starting at $62,500

Prizes will be displayed in local currency inside the game.

Jackpot Drop can be triggered on any round of an Eligible Game.

How to opt in and take part in Jackpot Drop

Players can opt-in to play Jackpot Drop by clicking ‘Opt in’ on the interface of any Eligible Game. Once opted-in, Players can select an additional amount (in real money) in increments from €0.10/£0.10/$0.10/CAD$0.10/1SEK (depending on the currency that Players are playing with), up to a maximum of €1.00/£1.00/$1.00/CAD 1.00 or 10 SEK, which will be added (subject to any regulatory maximum bet thresholds) to every Eligible Wager made on any Eligible Game (the “Contribution”).
The Contribution may be described and displayed in the Jackpot Drop in-game bar as “Bet”. The Contribution (or “Bet”) can be selected by switching on the selection feature at the bottom of the Player’s screen and can be adjusted if the Player so chooses. Each Contribution, whatever the selected amount, will comprise entry into Jackpot Drop. If no other Contribution is selected, the default Contribution is €1.00/£0.10/$0.10/CAD 0.10 or 1 SEK (depending on the currency that Players are playing with).
If a Player opts-in and selects a Contribution whilst playing one Eligible Game, they will be opted in with that same Contribution (or the default Contribution if no selection is made) across all Eligible Games, unless and until the Player changes their Contribution using the selection feature or opts out of Jackpot Drop. The deduction of any Contribution will be reflected in the Player’s in-game balance.
Players may opt-out at any time by ‘toggling out’ using the option at the bottom of their screen. The Contribution will then cease, and Players will not be entered into Jackpot Drop, unless or until they choose to opt in again.

By “Player” we mean a customer who is logged into their account, which is registered with William Hill, 888 or Mr Green, in one of the jurisdictions that Jackpot Drop is available.

By “Eligible Wager” we mean the minimum stake required to play the Eligible Game, that is made with real funds (subject to any regulatory maximum bet thresholds).

By “Eligible Game” we mean any game that is available on William Hill, 888 or Mr Green sites, which displays the Jackpot Drop logo, and has the opt-in bar at the bottom of the game.

Please note: any Contributions towards Jackpot Drop do not count towards wagering requirements in any other promotions.

How does Jackpot Drop work?

Jackpot Drop is a progressive jackpot, which means the jackpots available to win increase each time a Contribution is made. A portion of every Contribution goes into the different Jackpot Tiers.
Jackpot Drop can be triggered during any Eligible Game round where a Contribution is made. If the Jackpot Drop spinning wheel appears, the Player is guaranteed to win one of the jackpots from the Jackpot Tiers. The wheel will spin automatically, and Players will be shown which Jackpot Tier they have won.
If the wheel is not displayed, Jackpot Drop has not been triggered during that Eligible Game round, and the Player has not won anything.

What can you win on Jackpot drop?

There are six “Jackpot Tiers” and the starting, or ‘seed’, value of each differs:
1. Bronze – jackpot starting at $6
2. Silver - jackpot starting at $12
3. Gold - jackpot starting at $18.75
4. Platinum - jackpot starting at $31.25
5. Sapphire - jackpot starting at $250
6. Diamond - jackpot starting at $62,500
The starting value is the minimum a Player will win in each Jackpot Tier. There is no upper limit, and the jackpot in each tier will continue to increase as Players play the Eligible Games and make Contributions, until a winner is selected at random.
Seed values will be shown in dollars, but the Jackpot Tier values, Contributions and any winnings will be paid in local currency.
The current value of each Jackpot Tier can be seen both in the in-game bar of the Eligible Game and on the Jackpot Drop widget. These values are updated in real-time but may have up to a 30 second delay on display.
The amount awarded in the jackpot from the relevant Jackpot Tier will be fixed at the point of winning. Displays of jackpot amounts that change over time will be updated as frequently as practicable.
Once a jackpot is won, the relevant Jackpot Tier is locked to ensure it can only be won by one Player.
A winning customer will be notified of their win immediately, following which, all winnings, once verified, will be credited to customer accounts as cash and can be withdrawn at any time.

General Terms & Conditions for playing Jackpot Drop

The triggering of the Jackpot Drop wheel, and which Jackpot Tier a Player subsequently wins, is determined by a certified random number generator.
The Return to Player or "RTP" for Jackpot Drop is 70%. RTP is the theoretical statistical percentage of the total amount of Contributions that is paid out as winnings to Players over time, with the remaining 30% retained as house profit.
Eligible Game rules apply at all times. The RTP of the Eligible Game is wholly separate, and may differ across individual Eligible Games. Any wins from Eligible Games are separate from any wins under Jackpot Drop.
Jackpot Drop is only available in the following currencies: EUR, GBP, USD, CAD, SEK. Contributions must be made with real funds and can be selected in increments of €0.10/£0.10/$0.10/CAD$0.10/1SEK, up to a maximum of €1.00/£1.00/$1.00/CAD 1.00 or 10 SEK, depending on the currency that Players are playing with.
A Player’s chances of winning are in proportion to the value of the Contribution the Player chooses, in line with exchange rates. This means, for example, that if a Player selects a £0.20 Contribution, they have twice the chances of winning if Jackpot Drop is triggered during an Eligible Game round, compared to that same Player’s chances if they select a £0.10 Contribution. However, a Contribution of any amount could trigger Jackpot Drop in any Eligible Game. Selecting a higher Contribution does not guarantee that the Player will win in Jackpot Drop or that they will win in a higher Jackpot Tier.
If Players are opted-in, but there are no real funds available, Players will be notified and they will not be entered into Jackpot Drop.
If a Player attempts to make a stake on an Eligible Game which is below the minimum required for that game, or if such stake exceeds regulation compliance limits, including any applicable maximum bet thresholds, for the jurisdiction in which they are playing, then Players will be notified that they have not made an Eligible Wager and will not be entered into Jackpot Drop. If the selected Contribution itself would take a Player over any applicable maximum bet thresholds for their jurisdiction, the stake in the Eligible Game will be made, but the Contribution will not be deducted and there will be no entry into Jackpot Drop.
Once house profit has been deducted in accordance with the RTP percentage referenced in paragraph 2 above, Contributions are split between each Jackpot Tier as follows:
1. Bronze Jackpot: 3% (75% of this amount seeds the next jackpot)
2. Silver Jackpot: 39% (80% of this amount seeds the next jackpot)
3. Gold Jackpot: 34% (60% of this amount seeds the next jackpot)
4. Platinum Jackpot: 20% (50% of this amount seeds the next jackpot)
5. Sapphire Jackpot: 3% (40% of this amount seeds the next jackpot)
6. Diamond Jackpot: 1% (10% of this amount seeds the next jackpot)
For the avoidance of doubt, if, for example, a Player’s selected Contribution is £0.10, £0.03 will be retained as house profit and the remaining £0.07 will be distributed in accordance with paragraph 7a – f; if a Player’s selected Contribution is £0.20, £0.06 will be retained as house profit and the remaining £0.14 will be distributed in accordance with paragraph 7a – f.
Jackpot Drop is available across the brands and jurisdictions listed below, and the Jackpot Tiers will be funded and pooled across these brands and jurisdictions: William Hill – UK and .COM, 888 Sweden and .COM, Mr Green Sweden and .COM.
Once a Jackpot Tier is won, the relevant jackpot is locked for that game round (ensuring only one Player can win) and the jackpot will then reset to the initial starting values set out above. Therefore, it should not be possible from a technical perspective to have two simultaneous wins of the same Jackpot Tier.
All wins are subject to verification and any decisions as to eligibility or any wins (including the amount thereof) are final. We are not liable for technical, hardware or software failures or any unavailable or lost network connections which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect a Player’s ability to play Jackpot Drop.
In the event of a communication failure between our servers and Jackpot Drop servers, Jackpot Drop will be unavailable, and Contributions will be limited until the connection is restored. The amounts in each Jackpot Tier will remain unchanged during downtime.
Jackpot Drop is available at our discretion. As the operator, we reserve the right to discontinue or modify Jackpot Drop at any time on reasonable notice. Where Jackpot Drop is decommissioned, Contributions already made (which have not yet been won) will either be transferred to a different jackpot system or returned to Players – or a similar pool of players. We are not responsible for any connectivity issues between Players and Jackpot Drop.
Accounts suspected of unauthorized access (including the sharing of login credentials or simultaneous use by more than one individual) may be suspended or subject to investigation. Where appropriate, funds may be withheld in accordance with the relevant site’s Terms of Use or User Agreement.
Opting in to Jackpot Drop implies acceptance of these terms. We expect players to be fair when playing Jackpot Drop and consider certain types of play to be unfair and in breach of these terms and conditions. These types of unfair play include, without limitation:
1. colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage);
2. taking advantage of broken mechanics or combinations of loopholes in the game to manipulate outcomes or gain an unfair advantage;
3. using multiple accounts or sharing account access in breach of our User Agreements.
If Players take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may suspend play, void any winnings obtained through such play, and apply further account-level restrictions where appropriate, including suspending access to Jackpot Drop. We may also cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any benefits you have received, and either: (i) void any bets that were not funded by real money (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or (ii) remove any winnings flowing from unfair play.
Please note: misconduct in other games, features or promotions may also result in suspension from Jackpot Drop if it leads to an account-level restriction.
Customers may not participate in this game if previously been informed by us that they are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on our website, apps or in William Hill shops for any reason, including account level misconduct.
Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, Players can withdraw funds from their main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
